Since entering the Philippines in 1987, we have followed a fundamental policy of “locally rooted business operations.” This includes localizing management, providing continuous education and training for employees, and building strong relationships with the local community. Tsukiden Electronics Philippines operates the largest number of SMT (Surface Mount Technology) assembly lines in the country. Utilizing state-of-the-art high-speed mounters and precision inspection equipment, we achieve high-precision assembly for everything from ultra-fine 0.4mm pitch components to large connectors. Certified under IATF16949 for automotive parts, we meet strict quality standards. Our flexible production accommodates a wide range of products, including computers, mobile devices, automotive equipment, and medical devices, while handling hundreds of millions of component assemblies monthly. This contributes to strengthening the competitiveness of our key Japanese clients, including set manufacturers and automotive companies.
We thoroughly instill Japanese quality management methods and customer service principles into our local staff in the Philippines. On the production floor, we hold daily morning meetings, quality meetings, and implement a suggestion system to prevent defects and continuously improve quality. We emphasize close communication with customers, providing monthly reports, process capability data, and improvement plans with transparency equivalent to that in Japan. By combining Japanese “omotenashi” hospitality with the Philippines’ cheerful and proactive workforce, we deliver high-quality services that consistently exceed customer expectations.
